reverse gear question

i have a 1980 schamrock cuddy with a 302 ford and borg warner 71c series
transmission does anyone know what type of trans fluid is recommended
for this trans.

They suggest Type F auto trans fluid. You can also use John Deere Hy-Gard It might be cheaper than Type F.

You can get Type F at any autoparts store or Walmart.
