Re: reverse lock

Those are Not the Symptons of a faulty Reverse-Lock,........ That would be the Drive Jumping Up in reverse.............
Or something Exploding from Excessive Pressure when you Try to trim Up............
I Think if you unplug the 2 wires,.. It'll ceace to function.........

Your Issue sounds like Dry Pivot Pins......Something is Siezed,.. Or about to be.........
The Trim Pump,... Pumps Up,+ Out..... Gravity,+ drive Thrust Push it Down.............

The Pump makes High Pressure on the Up,+ Out side,.. But Considerabley Less Pressure on the In,+ Down side........

Re: reverse lock

I found the problem,it is a bad cylinder. Now I have to figure out how it get it apart. I have got most of it apart but, someone told me I have to get the end pieces out by beating it against a block of wood? Is this true? Which end do I hit? Thanks for the help so far!!

Re: reverse lock

Price, put the end cap back on the cyl. so you don't hurt the threads as sometimes you really have to slam the cyl. down hard to get the tube and the other peice out of the cyl.

The cylinder. I tried slamming it down (several times) with no progress. Will heat help remove it?
