Re: Reversed Launch
Our lake place is across from a public ramp, so we have seen a lot of weird launchings.
Several years ago we watched a go-fast boat being launched for the prospective (?) owner take it on a test drive. With 4 ramps, these folks usually leave the truck/trailer in place until the test ride is over.
Well, the boat comes back in and for some reason when he gets close to the ramp, he turns the boat around, and starts backing the thing onto the trailer. Everyone on shore is yelling at him to stop. But the engine noise is too loud. He does stop when the props start hitting the trailer. He then turns around and loads it nose first. Everyone was still yelling at him, but we really couldn't make out what exactly was being said.
I gotta get me a parabolic mike.
