I took my 1998 Cobalt220 out this weekend, and things seemed fine - boat went into gear, got up on to plane fine. I was at about 2,500rpm, and then decided to put the throttle down a little bit. Revs went up, but there was no thrust. It was like the clutch was going in a stick shift car - no power was going to the prop. Any ideas? It idles fine. It goes into gear ok (sometimes a bit clunky, but nothing abnormal). I just had the oil changed in my outdrive. It's a Volvopenta duoprop, and the mechanic had to take both props off to do this, but because one was stuck on, it required heating to get them off. Could this have anything to do with the thing slipping now?
