NEED TO FIND REWIND SPRING FOR 1965 9.5 HP EVINRUDE, OR SOMEWAY TO MAKE ONE. IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS I WOULD WELCOME THE HELP. THANKS

I believe that you can still get these from your local dealer, I bought one from a local dealer here last year for my 1969 9.5, they are a bit pricey though for what they are. I guess it is worth not having to wrap a rope around the flywheel though.

There is a complete rewind pull starter assembly on e-bay right now for $29.00. <br /><br />EVINRUDE PULL STARTER<br />Item # 2406044450 <br /><br />There are also a couple of rewind springs, for different models, but you could e-mail that person and ask if he has your spring. I have had good luck doing that in the past for a prop and some manuals.
