Rewiring 81 Starcraft ss160?

Hi I am in process of redoing my 1981 Starcraft 160 Super Sport. The wiring is all butchered up with scotch lock connectors and the orignal gauges are broken cracked. I was wondering if there are wiring diagrams for these or just start from scratch. It has 1981 Johnson 90 horse with factory johnson tilt & trim. I have new Faira gauges speedometer, tachometer & til trim gauge.

Contact Starcraft -- they built the boat and may have a diagram, but don't hold your breath. If you are rewiring, you have a choice to make. 1) Do you want it 100% original in which case you need Starcraft documentation, or 2) start over with no need to be 100% original. If you choose #2 you don't need a diagram for the boat. That wiring is quite generic and the stickies at the top of this forum (not this page) show you "one way" to do it. For the engine to console harness you need the engine manufacturers wiring diagrams.

I have an 83 PM160 mostly stock I believe. May be similar. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll try to answer.

Did you get your wiring figured out? I am about to tear into my 1982 SS160. I can take any pictures you need. I think it is mostly original.
