Rich running evinrude 235

I just bought an boat with an evinrude 235. Took it out today and it starts and idles nice but if you run it around at half to three quarter throttle it starts to load up. Once i open it up it clears out and takes off. The boat came out of arizona to nebraska. i didnt know if the elevation change could be affecting it. Im trying to find information on what orifices i should be running in my low and high speed. Thanks for any help.

It is possible that the carbs were rejetted if the 235 operated at high altitudes. You can check the factory jet sizes on line at BRP's parts website: epc.brp.com.
