Is it possible to change piston rings without a complete overhaul? Like by just getting the intake manifold off? Got a 1990 evinrude, 200hp looper. Wondering if it's possible.
Im not sure about the 200. But i have reringed and replaced pin bearings on several motors without removing the powerhead. 1972- 50 hp evinrude. 1985- 85 hp force.
