I have a new 115 4 stroke Yamaha. Engines runs fine but when in gear , there is a piercing ring noise when engine is from 1100 - 1200 rpm..It does not make the sound below or above this rpm.. I called the dealter I bought the boat from and the mechanics stated this is normal and that every engine will have a certain rpm, where the engine resonates atsome RPM.. Have you heard of this?
