I have an 86 Rinker 17ft open bow. Will the parts (excluding the motor) from a VIP fit. By parts I mean anything other than the motor. The VIP is a project boat that's missing the motor but has everything else... I want to replace everything on the interior of my rinker and have back parts like steering wheel, throttle, cables, ex... is it worth the $350 for back up parts...(I'm aware the trailer itself is worth the 300)

Steering/helm are components more closely related to the drive than the hull, so those would swap to a same drive system in another boat. Gauges and electronics are similar in that sense. As long as the wiring/cabling fit - no problem. Seats and "puffy" stuff are all a matter of fittin'.

So, if it's the same drive system - then the answer to your question is probably "yes, if it fits."
