hello guys.
Need your help again. A 1999/2000 robalo 2120 CC powered by a 150 HP mercury bluewater is up for sale where I live. I know the owner ( a neighbor & friend of mine), he bought it new, used it twice then left it covered in his backyard eversince. it has a T-top but no electronics.
all it needs is a touch up of black antifouling paint. my question(s)is, does anyone here has any experience with this year/model boat? also is there anything I should know about this merc bluewater 150 hp? how dependable is it?
sorry about all the questions, I'm trying to get as much info as I can before hand. I don't want to miss this chance. he's asking $20.500 but will let it go to me for $16.500.
Does anyone know the book value for this thing?
It sounds like a good deal but that's when you guys come in.btw, engine has only 6 hrs on it & comes with a trailer.
thank you, can't wait to hear from you
Rob

No personal experience with the Merc, but here's the NADA guide for price reference. Looks like a good deal. And that's without adding any extras.

web page

Re: Robalo 2120 ????

I shared a Robalo 24 CC with my brother for years. I believe it was a 1992 maybe a 1991 but had a bigger Merc. I think for 16,500 its a deal. I would put the Robalo aginst anything in its class. Ours needed bottom paint also but because we didn't leave it in the water (boat hotel)we let it go without untill we sold it in 1998. That boat took a beating in the Chesapeak Bay and the ocean but it never gave us cause to worry.
