I'm rebuilding the Rochester 2GC carb on my 2.3l OMC/Ford. My engine is not listed on the spec sheet for the float level and drop measurements. For the OMC 4cyls, they have 91" & 97" eng and also 153" eng. Mine's a 2.3L which works out to a 140 cubic inch eng. I'm assuming that " equals cubic inches? The number on the carb is 17086107 which I've researched with no luck. Is there a generic float level and drop for a basic 2G carb? Thanks.

So, the service manual only has the Rochester 2GC listed for a 3.0L engine. I'll just go with the measurements for that. They have a Holley listed for the 2.3. I pulled the 2GC from an '88 2.3 after I found out the Holley I had was full of the dreaded white pasty Alum Oxide and was not rebuildable. Possible someone switched out that carb years ago.
