Putting together a 2.3L Ford engine and I have either a Rochester or a Holley to choose from. They've both been laying around for a while so, I'm going to rebuild one for sure. Any opinions on which would be a better choice? I thought that Rochester was usually on GM products. Years ago, I had a Rochester Quadrajet on a GM 350 wear out and swapped it out for a Holley and the Holley was great. Any opinions are welcome Thanks

I'm good with either carb but might not use either on your motor unless they are sized for a 2.3L

What models are they?

The Holley was on the locked up 2.3 that was in the boat when I got it. The Rochester was on a complete OMC 2.3 parts engine I found. I swapped the entire manifold and carb from the parts engine to the new 2.3. I'll have to look for the model numbers on them.

Both have been sitting, both need rebuilding. Flip a coin
