Look guys I'm beat down on this motor finally got it all going and clean running great new trigger assembly, waterpump, switch box, plugs, gear oil and fuel filter on and on. I backed it in my pond started it up ran great after it warmed up not hot. It devolped a strange noise sounds like it"s coming from the flywheel sort of? Knock almost ping. It comes and goes at different rpm's. When I shut the motor off it knocks like crazy until it stops. I put a screwdriver in the spark plug hole and turned the flywheel with my hand, all the plugs were out. My center or number two cylinder when the piston gets to tdc and starts back I put the screwdriver on the dome of the piston and it moves it back guessing about 2 thousands. Is their anyway I can tell if it's a rod bearing or wrist pin bearing? I bought this motor with the only history is it hadn't been run in about 8 months. Compression all 3 cylinders 150 psi.
