Had a lot to talk about, so little time. You mentioned you are servicing 2 fuel filters that YAMAHA has no p/n for but that mitisbushi has been using for 15 yrs. , can be done if you dont distroy the O rings. Can you share with us what/ where the filters might be?
Was a pleasure hanging out with you, to bad I am 956 miles south, but I get to boat all year. Lovery bride, think she is a keeper. If she can drive in venesuala, she can certainly drive on OBX. Also, if the daughter wants to continue in mechanics school, DO IT, good investment! ALSO, all that seawall, consider putting in a lift before the enviromentalist get to your neck of the woods and put restrictions on you.
Let us know when you splash that twin I/O duo prop. OOOPS, hope I did not let the cat out of the bag that the O/B guru has twin I/Os. regards FRED

Re: RODBOLT, fuel filter/ screen question

seems the O/B guru aint so bright huh?
good looking boat though.
the filters are in the High Pressure pumps on the HPDI yamaha motors.
they can now be serviced by Flagship marine down in FL.
yes I have cleaned a few over the years but I had to reuse the orings and would not warrenty anything.
usually when they break/clog during a billfish tournament.
try anything to make another day offshore.
at least ya got to see an F150 run a few miles at 5600 RPM and how to use the hydraulic jackplate and trim tabs to take off in 1.8FT of water :).
gotta admit, doesnt take long from my dock to the crab.
lift is in the works, AC system upstairs set me back 7K 3 days after closing but my atty is woeking on that.

Re: RODBOLT, fuel filter/ screen question

Once you clear the harbor, seems it is a shorter trip to the BLUE CRAB than if you were driving. Another plus, no road blocks like I hear they put up on the road. Do the boats know their way home yet? Not my business but start flushing that motor, nice piece of equipment you stole there. FRED
