Ok im in the process of doing my preload on input shaft bearings upper new bearings set to 9 inch pounds! So are they suppose to have a firm feel to them when turning by hand after?

Yes chris thats what i set it at 9 inch pounds the manual states 6 to 10 new bearings! They feel very firm when i spin the assembly by hand just wondering if thats normal for new bearings?
