I have found this bike on craigslist. We will try to work out a trade for the 13 footer in my sig, since he states he wants to trade for a jonboat or other boat. We just want to figure a $ value for this.

It looks like a discount store bike and pretty much has very littel value other than its better than walking

Never heard of it, and I have been mountain biking since mountain bikes first came out in the 80's....Now, if it was a Litespeed titanium, or a Specialized FXR or a Ritchie or a Gary Fisher or a......well, you get the drift. I can't tell what the component groupo is, and it has no suspension. I see a $40 garage sale bike if everything works....

Keep the boat dude. If you want to actually "mountain bike" with that thing, I can see about $500 in upgrades you'll need (even in that photo) before leaving the pavement. Post your boat on Craig's list and ask to trade for a mountain bike. I'll bet you get some descent offers.

Okay, I am gonna pass this one up. Am not really in the market for a new mtn bike. Just something that is on the backburner so to speak.
