RPM Gauge, is this easy to replace?

My RPM gauge went out, is this a item that I can replace if I know a little about wiring? Also, can this be boat at a boat store using the gauges that they have, or should I get the same kind that came with the boat. The Boat is a BumbleBee (1989) with a 89' Evinrude 90 HP.

First find out WHY your tach went out. Is the retifier bad? If it's good your can go to the teleflex website or www.surplus unlimited.com. They have tachs that will work w/your boat. Yes they are pretty simple to replace,just make a note of the wires you take off and put them back the same way. But sure to set your tach to 6 on the back so you get the correct rpm.<br /><br />Dutch
