OK I have a 12 pole/6 pulse alternator on my 125 hp force Chrysler. Looking on EBay for tach and don?t know if any will fit. None say 12 pole/6 pulse. Can anyone give me some ideas for this? What specific type (if there is one) do I need for my motor?

You need those keywords, Alternator tach, 12pole/6 pulse. If they don't know what they are selling, ask them. If they still don't know, you kinda pays your money and you takes your chances.

Teleflex makes pretty nice ones, and are not toooo expensive. I got a new one on EBAY for 30 $ last fall. Easy to hook up also.
