Just a guess based on how they usually operate;
The RPM Limit is usually a few hundred RPMs above the point the engine develops maximum horsepower.
Typically a 5000-5200 rpm limit.
There is nothing to be gained in going any faster.
The limit is built into the engine computer.
Beside Red Lining, a second part of the issue is the speed of the computer trying to keep track of when to fire the next cylinder.
