I HAVE A SEA RAY PACHANGA WITH TWIN 454S. I AM NOT ENGINE SAVVY SO I NEED SOME HELP. FIRST I JUST REPLACED MY PROPS THIS YEAR AND WAS TOLD THAT BALLISTIC PROPS ARE GREAT WITH MERCRUISER ENGINES AND BRAVO 1s, SO I MADE THE SWITCH FROM QUICKSILVER MIRAGE, SAME SIZE AND PITCH. MY PROBLEM IS I CAN'T GET MY RPMS ABOVE 4000 AND I AM RUNNING ABOUT 10 MILES AN HOUR SLOWER AND IT IS TERRIBLE GETTING UP ON PLANE. WOULD I NOTICE SUCH A DRASTIC DIFFRENCE IF IT WAS THE PROPS?<br /><br />MY SECOND PROBLEM IS ON ONE ENGINE WHEN I FIRST HIT THE GAS IT SEEMS TO SPUTTER AND BACKFIRE. ONCE I GET GOING THOUGH IT RUNS FINE(ASIDE FROM MY RPM PROBLEM). IT DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL OF THE TIME BUT SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE. IF IT IS NOT IN GEAR AND I GIVE IT GAS IT IS FINE. IT IS ALSO RUNNING HOT. I JUST HAD A TUME UP BUT NOTICED THEY DID NOT CHANGE THE PLUG WIRES, COULD THAT BE A POSSIBLE CAUSE? ANY IDEAS YOU COULD GIVE ME WOULD BE GREAT.
