rpm's??

hi..i have a 2003 yamaha 2 stroke 250 hpdi on my 23' center console...what should my rpm's be at full throttle?

WOT range is 4500-5500.
yamaha reccomends it being propped to the high end of the range for maximum engine life.
you may wish to run by your local dealer with your primary ID as there have been a few updates on the Z,LZ and VZ 250 engines.

thanks for the reply...i had a problem in the beginning with too much oil going into the motor causing the plugs to foul...they fixed whatever it was right away..but after that the motor would not rev as high.

then something is wrong. look and see what other bullitens pertain to this engine. there are a few.

any decent dealership,preferably with a master tech, can run your primary ID and tell you whats been done and what is needed.
