Rub rail help!!

Hi, I am at the stage in my restoration where I need to find some rub rail for my 1959 harvey. The hull deck joint is an outward flange type that is about 1/2" wide and about 3/16" thick. I am unsure of what type of rub rail I could use on this as most seem to screw into the boat somehow, I am assuming this is an older style joint not commonly used anymore. Anyways if you could give me some suggestions I would appreciate it.
