I just bought mine from a car lot (long story)<br />I watched the salesguy fire up the motor with the boat on the trailer, and thanks to this thread, mentally subtracted $25 from my offer to cover the impeller kit

Do you plan on installing it yourself for free? If you burned up my impeller I would be charging you more then just the cost of it and my raw water pump is on the front of the motor. A lot easier to replace then the ones in the drive. If you are having it changed get a quote for the work before you make your final offer .
