Running my Tilt Trim Wiring

I have an '86 85HP Force that I just put on a 2-wire tilt trim system. What is the best route to run the wiring from the tilt trim to the relays and from the relays to the switch at the dash? Do I need to drill holes in the bottom half of the cowling to get the wiring inside to the relays? There is no room in the opening where the control cables and electrical cables go into the cowling.

Thanks.

Anyone? Can I run them through the air intake holes under the carbs?

Thanks.

trim motor wires go though same opening as throttle cables. you may need a new hard plastic "bushing" thing. control wires are usually built into wiring harness whether boat has trim or not. I don't know about 1986 though. I don't think it had any options or accessories that required control wires in engine. So just run a pair of 18/20 awg wires as best you can. speaker wire with abrasion resistant jacket would be good choice.
