I recently bought a 1971 Sea Wind with an OMC 3.8 GM V-6 motor. The block was cracked so I replaced it with a block from a 1984 Buick 3.8L V-6 car engine. I had to use the block and cam from the 1984 Buick but the heads and center intake along with the distributor and carberator and other external parts were from the OMC boat motor. After everything was reassembled it runs but only on 3 cylinders, 2,4, and 6 (all on the same side). They are definitely getting spark to the spark plugs. I don't if the problem arises from the carberator or from the cam. Anyone with idea?
