rust on welds?

I have a galv triler i had the crossmembers replaced and where they welded them to the frame I used the cold spray on galv it worked fine for a month or two but I am now starting to see some surface rust. This trailer see's salt water alot! what do you reccomend to stop the rust?

keep the cold spray on it. clean it up and respray. get a heavy coat on it.

more often than not, if you don't totally get all of the rust out before recoating, or coating originally, it'll rust in no time flat. Wire brush/scotch-brite sand, or whatever down to brite, shiney metal, clean it good with isopropyl alcohol, prime it with a good automotive primer, and cold zinc it. Should be good to go. Gotta get the rust out FIRST.
