Saw where someone used rustoleum for bottom paint.Boat is trailered and they have the color I want to use. was this the topside paint? BTW Crack in keel came out great! Thanks to all.
I assume the boat is aluminum?

If so, just prime it first with zinc chromate primer.

Rust Oleum doesn't dry real hard, it may scratch easier than epoxy paints.
Redneckn
Wash with vinegar first then prim with Zinc Chromate primer. If you never leave in the water Rustoleum might be ok. Really you need a paint that will not corrode aluminum (Low or no copper) but maybe ok if prime good first.
redneckn,
Yes, I used Rustolium on my tin boat.. It'll Also work well for your app. , even though you have a glass boat, Just Sand everything,+ roll it On....
