I will never be able to afford a custom made Sunbrella cover for my boat, so I am using a polyester "water resistant" cover. After about 1 year they are not very water resistant. I was wondering if anyone has tried Rustoleum NeverWet spray on a boat cover. It is a 2 part system, base coat top coat.

Gee, how about a "scotchguard" type product? I use it on ski clothes, boat covers and most any fabric I want to have the water bead up. it comes in several brands, and is avail at Wallyworld.
