rx330 towing

hi i have an rx330 and i have a 22ft boat but am curious to know if my suv can pull it anybody have any insight that would be greatly appreciated!

Well find the weight of your boat/engine, trailer and equipment. Remember 1 gallon of gas weighs +/- 6 lbs. Add the weight of fuel. Then find out the tow capacity of your vehicle. You could find that out on edmunds.com etc.. Also check what type of hitch is on your vehicle, class 3 etc... Did the rx330 come with a tow package, trans cooler etc..........

Bump to the top. I am also interested how an RX-330 would do. I just have to talk the wife into putting a reciever hitch on it!

3500 lbs with tow package.. the transmission cooler really being the only thing besides a class III hitch that would separate you from that weight.. even with all that installed I wouldnt do it.. the boat you are trying to tow probably weighs around 4000 dry not counting fuel and extra stuff that will be in the boat..Lets say you blow out your rear axle from towing that will cost you prob 2k+ for a lexus.. Hell I broke the side view mirror on my Gf's is250 and it cost 1k.. I would keep my tow rig and daily driver separate if I were you.. and i wouldnt spend alot of money on the tow rig.. Less than 3k seems normal..If you tow long distances you may want to splurge a little here though..
