well, dang. i was wanting to reply to ryans post on cut/paste oldtimers getting old, redundant jokes, etc.<br /><br />just remember, even though you may have heard a story before, being reminded of it again should make it fresh in your mind again. that doesn't mean much, until you've heard it all. <br /><br />unfortunately, you will reach a plateau in life, where you think you've heard it all. then you will begin to forget some things. then you will understand that experience makes you very fast at recalling things. <br /><br />when you've reached a point in life that everything is expected, and nothing is surprising, then you will understand what dejavu & getting old means. the only way to remember everything you've learned is to repeat it often. LOL

i will take a stab in the dark and ask if you remember how to figure the height of a peak on your gable (house) with only the 2 knowns:<br />-roof pitch<br />-width of gable<br /><br />and if you were giving an estimate of the cost of putting vinyl siding on that 1 gable, how did you figure the area in sq ft? <br /><br />that is pretty old stuff, right? grade school math i think...

Hi tylerin, thanks for asking.<br /><br />He had a mild stroke. He missed a day of walking, but I say him yesterday out walking his dog. He said that heis sticking to the street and useing a walking stick. <br /><br />He still have to go back to the doctors for more tests.

Interesting, as I was just wondering the same thing today about the old man. Glad to hear he is doing better.<br />ebb<br />Don't forget human error also: I found 6" clear beveled cedar siding for $00.18 a foot last year. Was so excited that that I did square feet! <br />Another two hour round trip Use it or loose it
