Well I'm not sure if the saying about the 2 best days in a boat owners life is true lol. Sold my toon today and somewhat happy and also not.

It was a 93 24 footerwith an old 115 on the back. Got 5500 for it which will pay it off with a little extra for my pockets. The back bench was coming apart, log brackets had some cracking and leaks, carpet needed replaced, and the starter went out in it over the winter. He took it as is, so I'm happy, but now I have no boat Won't really matter since I will be over in the desert for the summer and wouldn't have a chance to use it.

Oh well guess i'll have to wait till next year.

That sucks "Smoedog". You know you guys are always welcome on ours. Be careful over there this Summer. She was a good barge last time I saw her. Good Luck !!! :blue:

At least you got out of it with a profit (not a loss like i always wind up with!!) It's off to a new home and you can spend the next year looking for a good replacement.

Sounds like you got the better of that deal, have a safe tour and another boat will find you when you get back.
