GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING,
I have a 2007 D1-30 B VP with a 130- SB Saildrive 2.19:1 Gear Ratio with 723 hrs on it.
We found out yesterday that the nut that holds the veritical shaft in the Saildrive has loosened or come off. This , I understand should be pressed on at the factory to certain specs and it obviously was not.
This will mean we have to lift the engine to get at the shaft and the nut since the propeller shaft will not move. It is stuck on the nut we think .
My question is what is the most direct way to contact Volvo about this problem and to see if there is any warranty for poor workmanship at the factory.
And if anyone has any input on solutions they are most welcome . THANKS FOR YOUR HELP AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
