Saltwater sitting in pontoon rotting from inside out

just found saltwater had been sitting inside pontoon --just had a $$$ patch welded on rear wall of pontoon after discovering grey mushy film-am I too late? Is there anything to neutralize the salt residue inside the log?

you can try neutra salt to neutralize any salt, however it wont fix corrosion

if you have holes coming thru, it may be too late

Salt away will get rid of the salt.
