Re: same gearcase?
when i was replacing the bearing for the drive pinion i must have dropped a pin down the hole without knowing.the reverse gear lost 1 tooth and the drive pinion lost part of one. it looks like one of the springs is a little stretched also. <br /> i found the new parts locally but they are very expensive, gear $200 and pinion $268 so iwas hoping to use the 80hp gearcase for parts or replacment if it is in good enough shape.
