Sand paper grit for hull

Hello, I recently applied some marine tex epoxy to the bottom of my hull to fix some scratches. Any idea what size grit sand paper is best to sand the dried epoxy? Any information is always appreciated. MB

By the way my boat is fiberglass.

400 then finish with 600.<br /><br />You could start with 220 depending on how large of a repair but improper use of the 220 will cut through the gel coat.<br /><br />Bob
