I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to save videos from youtube.com to your hard drive? There has been a few vid posts on there that i liked and are no longer there. So what im trying to figure out is how can you save it so you can open it with regular media player right from your hard drive that way if it gets removed from youtube.com i can still have it. The ones im trying to save i think im going to e-mail the user that posted them and see if he can e-mail them to me as video attachments. Thats the only way that i can figure to save them. Thanks for any help you guys can give me. This is one of the videos im trying to save: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhRd3Z_DmGc&mode=related&search=) There is a whole series of these. Im going to e-mail the guy that made them and ask him if he can e-mail them to me.

It worked for me. It looks like you copy the internet address and paste it into a box at that website and it converts the video to a format you can save on your computer. I haven't tried it yet, but It looks simple enough. Try typing that vixy address into your address bar rather than clicking on the link.
