hello,

I was wondering if anyone had schematics of an OMC tilt motor and hydraulic line attachments for this type of motor.

This is not a TILT TRIM unit since it wasn't ofered at the time but i do believe the TILT feature was offered. None of the hydraulic lines seem to align with the motor when its mounted, something tells me there needs to be a bracket that changes the oprientation of the tilt motor so it aligns with the hydraulic couplers. I'll try to post a pic.

I also woudl like to know if there is an electrical schematic of the motor itself. i've taken it apart and am going to be resoldering the conductors.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Schematics for TILT 100ESL72R - picture

here is the unit that came off the boat. I changed the cord but now I have to resolder the armature and its a pain. A schematic would be great. heck, even if someone could identify who's unit this was would be great.

When the motor was shipped they broke the bracket which will require a new weld.

As far as how the motor attaches to the hydraulic lines, everything seems to fit but without a routing schematic, i am concerned the lines may get crimped.

Also, a schematic would show me how the little piston behind the lifting pistons actually works. As it stands right now, I assume in runs with the main lifting piston to assist since it doesn't have a wire specific to it.

Arrrrggghhhhhh....its such a pain without information but the idea of not recycling these parts and watching them go to the dump just drives me nuts.

Any help would be appreciated

A parts catalog diagram and parts list is available on the BRP parts site.

Navigate to the first parts window and select "OB Accessories" where Evinrude is the default, then choose 1972, then Electrical 1972, then "Power Tilt Kit 85 100 125"
