screwed up and dropped my float!

Was thinking my 170 was flooding so I was gonna take a look at my float, needle and seat and I accidentally tilted it sideways like a doofus and outpopped the pin, float hit the floor, needle was recovered too, but I think I am missing a pin and spring that go under the needle. Advice? Order a complete rebuild kit? Are all the 170 2bbl carbs the same?

Thanks in advance!

Rochester will say " Quadrajet " on it

How many mixture screws do you have on the carb?

They used 2 barrel carbs.

Ah, yes. I was thinking of the 488's which did use a 4bbl.. Roch carbs are usually marked tho. Would be a 2G if Roch, as I don't think the Dualjet was ever used for marine engines

Yes it has the single idle mixture screw, thanks as always Terry! I dropped the little pin and spring that go inside the needle into the bottom of the hull. I'll just order that whole group thanks!

I would consider getting the float also just in case it was damaged.
