I recently purchased a Sea Camper that has been used in fresh water. I need some assistance on the OMC out drive. When I depress the switch down the lower unit goes down. When I activate the switch up it need some assistance by pulling the out drive up. I have used jumper wires to work the solenoid. I have two brand-new batteries and the power seems to be more than sufficient to operate the motor. The motor seems to be not strong enough to run the drive out (up). Could it be that the motors to leak or is there some other problem. Looking for help, if anybody has had any experience please help me out, thank you Jerry at

pop the rubber caps (steering bumpers) off the trunnion caps -you'll see a grease fitting under there- grease those trunnion bearings and retry
