My cousin asked me for help, he's looking at a boat a friend of his is selling. The seller is very motivated and will probably let it go under value. I did not see any paper work on it. It's called a Sea Era. It appears to be about 23' or so center console fishing with a Mercury 250 efi, salt water series. The Merc is a two stroke , six cylinder, with oil injection and efi.
I was told it had been sitting for a few months. I added some Startron to fuel, charged the batteries, cleaned the plugs and it fired right up (with ear muffs of course). The engine, I believe is a 2004 and looks almost new. But, I have a feeling the boat itself may be older. As I said, it looks pretty nice with all the standard equipment found on a fishing boat. We spent a couple of hours cleaning it up. For the most part every thing I checked seem to be working. Is any one familiar with Sea Era? I can't come up with much on line.
