It has been suggested by a few people that I use a gas additive to help clean out the carbs on a merc 9.9 Any advice on whether or not Sea Foam, Mercury Quikclean, or Barryman's B-12 would be the best.

Re: Sea foam, Quikclean, or Barryman's B-12

Good Mornin',

I used Seafoam just the other day. I have a Force 50 hp motor. Has been de-carbed once (OMC brand) since it existed. So I tried the concentrated receipe with the Seafoam to facilitate the process. 1 can in 3/4 gal gas with 3 oz. oil. Ran it for 15 minutes, sit 15 minutes,
ran, sit, over and over until mixture all gone.
Recommend you do this on the open water. Smokes a bunch.
The junk that came out was incredible.

Power has improved as has the idle. NAPA carries
this product. And it's reasonable for price.

Just my humble opinion.
