Hello.
Can anybody tell me what sea foam is and does?
How do I get in the engine housing of my old '57 35 horse Seahorse and what do I do to get it out?
Thank you for your response.
Cornelis.
Sea Foam is a product used to clean carbon from auto and marine engines. I found it at NAPA. It can be added to the gas or poured/sprayed into the carburetor. Johnson Outboard recommends cleaning out carbon annually on my 112 SPL. There is also a product called Sea Foam Deep Creep. It is the same product in aerosol. Since I couldn't find Deep Creep, I used a clean spray bottle filled with Sea Foam to spray in the carburetors. It seemed to work pretty good and I could tell an immediate difference in how the engine ran afterwards. I certainly can't give expert advice, but I have used Sea Foam just recently. Hope this helps.

----------------------------------------------------

www.StriperChaser.com
rolmops,

I've used it for years as a fuel stabilizer for everything from outboards to cars to lawnmowers.

Good stuff-IN MY OPINION.
