Hey i got one of these a few years ago and put it on a small boat i have and it's been a good motor for me (now 15 dad help when i was little) but i had lots of troube startin' it so i cleaned out the carb and all and sealed it up and all, and was wondering if anybody could give me any info on this i think the oil mixture is 50:1 but that may be wrong but it's been working for me so far but i'ld like to hear what you guys have to say

i'm betting thiers a few threads on these and i should've spent more time searching but i'm lazy what can i say

Many builders supplied Sea Kings, without a model number or at least detailed description can't be much help on fuel mix.If its water cooled VWB model number its probably a West Bend or Chrysler could be 16,25 or 50:1 depending on the year.If its air cooled with a water cooled exhaust leg,it is probably a Clinton Fuel mix would be 16:1.

it's air cooled proball shoulda said that, and the exaust exits thru a bunch of holes in the shaft, i'll see if i can find a serial # tommorow

By your description, it sounds like your Sea King was built by ESKA. If so, I would run 20 or 25:1 In it. Unless your oil is a 30 weight 2 stroke oil (and that stuff is hard to find/ non-existent), then you are more than likely gonna sieze your motor.
