This msg is directed to "steelespike". I was told by rickdb1boat, Admiral, member # 9947 that you will know how to solve my problem.
I have a sea King by Montgomery Wards with the number "14KI8819" and #s "2167" under those numbers. I don't know what the numbers represent. They are located on the flywheel. I have no idea the size (HP) or the year this motor was made or where I would find a repair / operators manual. Also, where should I go to get help in getting this motor in operational shape again. I live near Rockford, IL.

Re: Sea King

Im sorry I dont find that number. The model number usually appears on the mounting bracket.
Sea Kings were built by a number of companies.
The mod. number will pin that down.In the meantime a discription will help.Color, number of cylinders,aircooled/watercooled,metal or
fiberglass/plastic cover.full gear shift,360
degree reverse, neutral clutch, location of the shift.throttle control, built in or remote tank/tank shape.Of course if you can figure out how to post a picture it would be easier.
