I'm new to this board and am finding it very helpful. I'm looking at a couple of boats (for fishing and taking my wife and child around the lake at low speeds). I would appreciate any advice you can give me - especially about buying an older boat. One I'm looking at is a 1982 Fisher Marine 15-foot aluminum boat that has been well cared for - original owner. The other boat is a 1992 Sea Nymph V1462 which is also aluminum. Prices are similar. This would be my first boat. Any insights you have on these two types of boats would be helpful.
