sea ray 19ft 4.3 4 blade 18p prop

when i purchased my boat it had a 14.5 3 blade 19p prop i switched to a 14.5 4 blade 18p prop. I use my boat pretty much for wakeboarding only. I am limited my rpm not throttle. I reach max rpm before I max out the throttle, even with the boat loaded down. Does anyone have a similiar boat with a 17p prop?

If you want a prop recomendation - we need actual WOT numbers to base them on.

i cant actually get to WOT because im supposed to be in the 4600-4800 range and now i can get up to 5100 but then the rev limiter kicks on and I cant get any higher and i still have some throttle left.

You went the wrong direction when you changed props. I am guessing the PO underpropped it for watersports, and you dropped pitch again when changing to the 4 blade.

Why? This will be seriously underpropped.

You probably need to be in the 20" (4 blade) or 21" (3 blade) area, but this is justa guess, since we can't get an actual WOT number.
