I have 20 feet Bayliner with 5.0 L OMC.
Now engine won’t start. I found a sea water in all 8 cylinders. After cranking engine without spark plugs trying to push water out the water is still there.
Before this engine worked not very good losing RPM.
Something wrong with exhaust system? What I think that water sucked back into cylinders due to incorrect exhaust doors operation. or other reasons?

Water in all 8 cylinders ! ???
I would start looking at the exhaust flappers and the static waterline on the boat.
Any chance the boat stalled at high rpms or went from WOT to idle creating a large backwash?

Water in all 8 I would look to intake manifold first (after answering Kevin's question), then riser gaskets.

I found that there are no exhaust flappers at all.
Great thanks to dealer that sold me this boat...
Guess that the flappers from Mercruiser would fit my OMC.
