Sea Water pump for rinsing - where to connect?

I am considering putting in a sea water pump for rinsing off toys and feet when getting in off the beach and stuff. Where do the water inlets typically get drilled for these? Has anyone ever pulled water off the engine inlet or outlet hoses rather than drilling the hull?

Use a plastic bucket:D

No drilling or hacking into items that weren't meant to be hacked into.

A lot of onboard showers use a mixing valve and hot engine water and cold inlet water to make warm shower water.

fishing boats have the inlet in the bottom of the hull so that you can draw water while running. I've seen them in the transom but they don't pull water when running. Be sure to have a sea **** so you can shut it off at the source.
IMO you are putting your boat at risk for a minor convenience.
