Gas gauge portion of instrument cluster was not working.
Take out sending unit tube, remove all of the Black epoxy from the top to expose screws that hold the circuit board in place. Remove circuit board. Tiny, I mean TINY wire that goes between circuits at the top usually is bad. New wire, solder in place. Of course always clean and look for noticable damage elsewhere. Be sure to clean the little magnets in the float. Reassemble and your good to go. Mine works great now. Good Luck and saved over $140.00.
